This calendar provides information for interested parties and participating candidates of the NYS Public Campaign Finance program of the 2024 state legislative elections for the office of State Senate and State Assembly. If you have not registered to be a participating candidate under the public matching funds program, please adhere to the 2024 Campaign Financial Disclosure Calendar found HERE.
This calendar provides references to all public campaign finance program deadlines, mandatory financial disclosure reports, optional weekly claim periods, and the scheduled payment periods. In addition to this calendar, all candidates should be aware of the NYSBOE political calendar which sets forth all ballot access dates for 2024. Click HERE to view the NYSBOE political calendar.
State law requires three payment periods within thirty days of the primary election and three payment dates within thirty days of the general election date. The PCFB has scheduled additional payment dates for candidates to be able to submit claim for payment of public matching funds. Dates and deadlines are subject to change due to changes in the law, election schedules, board rules or other circumstances. If changes do occur, updates will be posted on the PCFB website and communicated to registered candidates via email. Be sure to check this page for updates.

Weekly claims are optional and weekly claim period will start on April 22nd and end on June 17th for the primary election. If a committee chooses to file a weekly claim, the due date would be Monday at 1 pm. Any claim submitted after 1 pm will be accepted for the following week. Weekly claims will be paid at the next scheduled payment date.
24 Hour Notice Periods: June 11th -June 24th.

Weekly claims are optional and weekly claim period will start on June 24th and end on October 28th for the general election. If a committee chooses to file a weekly claim, the due date would be Monday at 1 pm. Any claim submitted after 1 pm will be accepted for the following week. Weekly claims will be paid at the next scheduled payment date.
24 Hour Notice Periods: October 6th -November 4th.
After the elections, committees must continue to file periodic disclosure statements through the post-election audit until the campaign has satisfied all outstanding liabilities, appropriately disposed assets, and are successfully terminated by the PCFB.
