Candidate Training Session
Candidates participating in the Public Campaign Finance Program must complete the mandatory training requirement prior to their authorized committee receiving public matching funds. This training session is also open to, and recommended for, any other individuals working with candidates and treasurers during the course of the campaign.
The Candidate Training session will discuss various topics such as an introduction to the Program, qualifying for public funds, matchable and non-matchable contributions, uses of public funds, and other requirements and important information for candidates.

Treasurer Training Sessions
Training is mandatory for all committee treasurers participating in the Public Campaign Finance Program and must be completed prior to the committee receiving public matching funds. These training sessions are also open to, and recommended for, any other individuals working with candidates and treasurers during the course of the campaign.
There are three separate training sessions for treasurers to attend, with a variety of days and times offered for each session.
Training sessions will cover the Program's overview and campaign finance basics, including NYSBOE's Electronic Filing System Web Application and disclosure requirements.
